The tribals of Jawahar live 180 km from Mumbai in abject poverty.

With water being their only means of livelihood and not having the ability to store the water- dams is something they desperately need.

 

This year however, there was too much rainfall and all crops were completely destroyed.

Vikas Vidyalaya School for the Deaf is an award winning school which works relentlessly on helping the deaf with speech therapy and sign language therapy.
