With Dance performances, premieres, musicals, children's shows and housefull nights- the Experimental Theatre was definitely the place to be spotted this YouTheatre Festival.
Opening and closing the festival- the theatre hosted some of the finest and most memorable performances in YouTheatre!
With our new cocker debuting on stage, Magic would have made my personal YouTheatre mascot and hero Cookie very, very proud!

With shows every 90 minutes at the GDAT ranging from hindi comedies, to children's shows, talent shows, to English classics and even Ghazals, GDAT was a venue that kept surprising audiences. With a never-ending stream of audiences and performers the GDAT has never been this crowded- EVER!

The fabulous Zeenia Master volunteered this gorgeous SoBo Experimental space for a variety of shows. With stand up performances, unique monologues and musicals both performers and audiences were smitten by this gorgeous old converted space.

The Finale started with the Vikas Vidyalaya School for the Deaf performing in sign language to the NATIONAL ANTHEM sung by the Kamla Mehta School for the Blind and there wasn't a dry eye in the hosue. What followed were spectacular performances by Sadhya, moving films on the NGOs supported including the IIFL Foundation and the Raah Foundation and the highlights of the festival with fabulous singing, dance and theatrical performances! Highlights also included a Deaf child's recitation of poetry and a group of Blind girls who performed a high intensity dance all across the Experimental Stage!
The Runner Up Trophy for YouTheatre 2016 was awarded to DESTINY THEATRE for RANG RASIYA BALAM.
The Winning Ttophy for YouTheatre 2016 was awarded to SADHYA for MYSTICAL FOREST
